Holiday Bowl Games could boost Arizona economy by $315 million

The Arizona State University W.P. Carey School of Business projects that “A three-game college football bonanza that the Valley will host around New Year’s will generate close to $315 million in economic impact.” Two of the major games played here in the Valley are the Fiesta Bowl on Jan. 1 in Tempe, and the Insight Bowl. “Last year, the Fiesta Bowl estimates that the Fiesta Bowl, Insight Bowl and related events had an economic impact of about $200 million.” To read more visit 3 big games could give Valley $315 million boost by the Arizona Republic.
